We arrived in Perth

Perth here we are!

First of all, sorry for not staying that up to date on my blog recently. I try to maintain so many things at the same time such as instagram, youtube, photography and video editing. So please apologize for the delay and enjoy my first Perth blogpost!

However, two weeks ago I was packing my bags again. Three years of hard work to figure out what I want and how to achieve my plans were worth it. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about I’m giving you a short insight of what happened the last few months/weeks: I planned my journey to Sydney for years, finally got a internship position, told my parents about my plans, internship was canceled, tried to find something else by sending millions of applications, got one quick positive reply, Valeria found an au pair position in Perth, terminated my job, booked flight tickets to Perth with Valeria.

Everything stared on Monday 27. August at the airport in Hanover at 7am. We were first off to London where I surprisingly saw Tanya Burr. After 5 hours of waiting, we were 17 hours away from Perth. Yes, you read it right – 17 hours!! But I can reassure you, this flight was quite good (did I just said that?). The combination of anti-anxiety pills, Valeria next to me, good conversations, movies, and some Gin and Tonic made it pretty easy for me.

Valeria’s host mother picked us up and made a very delicious dinner. Instantly we felt very comfortable and the fact that we both could live there for one week and enjoy our time in Perth was more than kind.

Due to very cold and rainy weather, we spend the first day basically in the city and in multiple shopping malls. The next day we were off to Elisabeth Quay and Kings Park. If only I could describe how beautiful this view was, but well you can see it in the pictures. Do you also feel that pictures cannot capture the exact same grace as in real life?
