Drugstore Beautybox – collaboration with Georgias Beauty Box

I haven’t had a great opportunity for a little
collaboration with other bloggers –  till
now. For a long time I am supporting Georgias Blog called Georgias Beauty Box
and I love reading all of her blogposts. She is an amazing blogger from the UK. Likewise
she is a faithful reader here on my blog, which I appreciate so much. Because
both of us are living in different countries, we are writing obviously about
different brand, products and subjects. The UK
and Germany
are offering so many different brands, which do not exist in the respective
country. So I thought this is a great basic for a collaboration. The idea was to
create a little Beautybox with some drugstore make-up products for an amount of
15£. Within a week we received the package and trust me
both of us were so excited.

those products for her. Here are those products Georgia sent to me:

Sleek Strobing Soufflé Highlighter

I love sleek! My Sleek contour kit is one of my
all-time favourites. This highlighter was the first item I unwrapped and I was
literally so happy holding this in my hand. The soufflé highlighter is a part
of the new collection from sleek and it’s the perfect pink/coral colour, isn’t
it? Even though I’m not the biggest fan of wearing a lot of highlighter I will
definitely ad this one to my favourite list. It leaves a brilliant glow to your
cheekbones instead of a lot of glitter – lucky me!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

This is the only item I already know I will receive
within this beautybox.  The lasting
profection concealer is hyped by so many beauty bloggers and obviously on so
many youtube channels. It’s basically a staple in most make-up collections. It
has really high coverage for both day and night looks. Unfortunately this
colour is a little bit too dark for my currently skin tone, but summer is definitely
waiting.

Collection Velvet Kiss – Mango 4

I was astonished about this colour as I unwrapped this
item. Ordinarily I am using either a dark red or brown tones in winter. This
red tone has a slightly orange undertone – a colour which is definitely new in
my make-up collection. Finally something different! The texture reminds me of
the NYX buttercrems (as also mention in her letter) – creamy, matt and
enjoyable to wear.

Collection Precicion Contouring – Medium 2

I haven’t tried creamy colours to contour my face yet,
but I can definitely say that this concealer stick is so easy to aply. To
contour my face I only aply this product under my cheekbones and on my forehead
and blend it with a beauty blender or any other blender sponge. The colour Medium 2 is a lovely cold subtle colour perfect for autumn and winter.

Draw the line lip Crayon

Again, I was so happy to receive this product, because
I haven’t heard about this brand before and I love trying new brands and
products. Georgia
wrote in her letter that she found this item in a shop called Wilkinsons which
offers some lovely products around Christmas time. This lip cream has a light
pink undertone, which I love to use on a daily basis.

Kollaborationen
mit anderen Bloggern waren bislang noch nicht auf meinem Blog vertreten – bis
jetzt! Schon seit längerem lese ich mit großer Begeisterung alle Blogbeiträge
von Georgia – eine Beauty-Bloggerin aus Birmingham Großbritannien. Auch sie ist
eine treue Leserin hier auf meinem Blog, was ich sehr zu schätzen weiß. Da wir
beide aus unterschiedlichen Ländern kommen, schreiben wir auch über
verschiedene Produkte, Marken und Themen. Großbritannien und Deutschland bieten
relative viele unterschiedliche Marken und Produkte an, die es im jeweiligen
anderen Land gar nicht im Handel gibt. Da wir beide große Drogerie Make-up Fans
sind, ist uns die Idee in Sinn gekommen uns gegenseitig für einen Betrag von 15£
eine Beautybox mit Make-up Produkten aus der Drogerie zu schicken.  Innerhalb einer Woche hatten wir unsere
Päckchen erhalten und uns wie kleine Kinder über Geschenke gefreut.

Welche Produkte
ich ihr zugeschickt habe könnt ihr auf ihrem Blogpost lesen. Mir hat es
unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht einige meiner Lieblings Produkte rauszusuchen und
einzupacken.

Folgende Produkte
hat Georgia mir zu geschickt:

Sleek Strobing Soufflé Highlighter

Ich liebe Sleek
Produkte! Meine Sleek Contour Palette zählt auch zu meinen all time Favoriten.
Dieser Highlighter war das erste Produkt, welches ich auspacken durfte und habe
mich unglaublich gefreut! Der Souffle Highlighter ist ein Teil der neuen Sleek
Kollektion und glitzert in einem perfekten Pink/Koralle. Obwohl ich mich bis
jetzt nicht mit Highlightern generell anfreunden konnte, gehört dieser
Highlighter jetzt zu meinen Favoriten. Er hinterlässt ein leichtes schimmern
auf den Wangenknochen und glitzert, zu meinem Vorteil, nicht zu stark.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Das war das
einzige Produkt von dem ich bereits wusste, dass ich es bekomme (da ich es mir
quasi gewünscht habe). Dieser Concealer wird in so vielen YouTube Tutorials
verwendet und vielen Bloggern gehypt. Für einen Concealer aus dem Drogerie
Markt, hat dieser eine sehr hohe Deckkraft und ist perfekt für ein Tages- und
Abendmake-up. Leider ist die Farbe für meinen Hautton im Moment noch zu dunkel,
aber der Sommer kommt bestimmt bald wieder.

Ich war sehr
erstaunt über diese Farbe, als ich die kleine Verpackung öffnete. Normaler
Weise trage ich zur Winterzeit eher sehr dunkle Töne bzw. immer einen beerigen
Rotton. Dieses Rot hat einen leichten Orange Stich – eine Farbe die so in
meiner Kollektion noch nicht vertreten ist. Endlich mal was anderes! Die Textur
ähnelt den NYX buttercreams – cremig, matt und sehr angenehm zu tragen.

Collection Precicion Contouring – Medium 2

Bislang habe ich
mich nicht getraut mit Creamfarben zu konturieren, doch mit diesem Stick geht
es unglaublich leicht. Dazu habe ich den Concealer Stick unter den
Wangenknochen und an der Stirn aufgetragen und mit einem Beautyblender
verblendet. Der Kühle Ton passt perfekt zu meinem Hautton und besonders für die
Herbst-und Winterzeit.

Über dieses
Produkt habe ich mich besonders gefreut, da ich von dieser Marke noch nichts
gehört habe. In Georgias Brief stand drin, dass Wilkinsons gerade zur
Weihnachtszeit viele tolle Produkte dieser Marke im Sortiment hat. Dieser Lip
Crayon hat einen Rosa Unterton, welchen ich, neben Brauntönen, für den Alltag
am liebsten verwende.
